About AllFirefighter
AllFirefighter is an independent fire service reference platform run by two career firefighters
from Turkey. Our mission is to produce operational tools, hazmat references, NFPA and EN
standards summaries, and training content that genuinely helps firefighters do their job —
regardless of which country they serve in.
The domain allfirefighter.com was registered in 2020. The site is owned,
operated, and written by two active-duty firefighters — not by generalist writers, agencies,
or affiliate farms.

Our Mission
We write for the person holding the nozzle, driving the apparatus, and running the incident —
not for search engines. Every tool and article on AllFirefighter is built to answer a real
operational question: what is the friction loss in this hose layout?,
what does NFPA 1971 actually require for this PPE?, what is UN 1203
shipped as and what guide does ERG send me to?
We work at the intersection of two standards families: NFPA (used across
North America) and EN (used across the European Union and adopted in
Turkey alongside AFAD/İtfaiye doctrine). Most fire service resources online assume one or
the other. We summarize both, and where they differ, we explain how and why.
Editorial Team
Every technical article on AllFirefighter is written by one editor and reviewed by the other.
All content is signed. Reference and data-driven content (such as state salary pages sourced
from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics) is published under the AllFirefighter Editorial
Team name, with the underlying data sources stated on each page.

Editorial Independence
No advertiser, affiliate partner, or sponsor has ever influenced — or will ever influence —
an editorial decision on AllFirefighter. Content is never paid for, promoted, or adjusted
based on commercial relationships.
Some gear articles contain affiliate links (clearly disclosed on each article). These have
no bearing on product selection, ratings, or recommendations. If a product does not meet
NFPA certification or fails our criteria, we say so — affiliate relationship or not.

How We Use AI Tools
We are firefighters first and writers second. English is not our native language. We use
AI tools to help with translation, copy-editing, and formatting — but every technical claim,
every number, every standard reference, and every procedure is sourced, written, and
reviewed by our editors. AI is a translator and editor on AllFirefighter — never the author.
Our Commitment to the Fire Service
Firefighting is a profession where inaccurate information can directly harm people. That is
why we write under our real names, publish verifiable credentials, and submit every technical
article to peer review before publication. Errors can be reported through our
Corrections Policy
and are always fixed with a public correction notice — we do not silently edit articles.
We are based in Turkey but write in English because the fire service community is global.
Our work draws from NFPA (U.S.), EN (EU/Turkey), IFSTA, USFA, NFIRS, and Turkish AFAD and
İtfaiye doctrine. Where practices differ between systems, we show both.
