A Rehab Sector is a designated area on the fireground where personnel can recover from physical exertion, rehydrate, and receive medical evaluation. This sector is typically equipped with medical personnel, hydration supplies, and a designated space for rest, ensuring that firefighters can recuperate effectively. Not to be confused with the staging area, which is primarily for equipment and personnel awaiting deployment, the Rehab Sector plays a critical role in maintaining operational readiness within the Incident Command System (ICS).
