A Rapid Intervention Team Pack (RIT Pack) is a specialized collection of equipment designed for firefighters tasked with the rapid rescue of downed or trapped personnel in hazardous environments. This pack typically contains a spare SCBA cylinder, rescue rope, a thermal imaging camera (TIC), and other essential tools for emergency extrication. Not to be confused with standard firefighting gear, the RIT Pack is specifically configured for immediate deployment during critical rescue operations, adhering to protocols such as the Incident Command System (ICS) and National Incident Management System (NIMS).
