An SCBA cylinder is a high-pressure storage vessel specifically designed to contain breathable air for use in self-contained breathing apparatus during firefighting and rescue operations. These cylinders are constructed from advanced composite materials to minimize weight while maximizing strength and pressure resistance. Not to be confused with air tanks used in other applications, SCBA cylinders are integral to maintaining a safe atmosphere in environments classified as Hot or Warm Zones, where toxic gases may be present.
