Snap-tite Hose is expanding its U.S. sales organization with three new District Sales Managers, adding experienced fire-service and fire-equipment professionals across the Northeast, Southwest and Mid-Atlantic regions.

The Erie County, Pennsylvania-based fire hose manufacturer announced the appointments of Brett Greenlee, James Clifford and Bill Rockey on September 16. The move gives the company additional regional coverage for fire departments, distributors and other customers seeking product support, training opportunities and direct contact with field representatives.

At a glance: Brett Greenlee will cover parts of the Northeast, James Clifford will serve Southern California, Nevada and Arizona, and Bill Rockey will cover a five-state Mid-Atlantic territory.

Why Snap-tite is expanding its regional team

Snap-tite said the appointments are intended to put additional product knowledge and industry experience closer to customers and distributors in the markets they serve.

For fire departments, regional representation can matter beyond the initial purchase of hose. Departments may need help evaluating product options, coordinating with distributors, arranging training or addressing operational questions after equipment enters service. Snap-tite's announcement places each of the three managers in defined territories rather than assigning them to a national role.

James Novinsky, CEO of Snap-tite Hose, said the company is investing in people who understand the operating demands faced by its customers. He also pointed to the fire-service and industry backgrounds of all three new managers as an important part of the expansion.

“Adding experienced people to our sales team allows us to be closer to our customers and more responsive to their needs,” Novinsky said.

Brett Greenlee joins Snap-tite as Northeast District Sales Manager with more than 20 years of experience spanning the fire service, municipal and industrial markets, fire protection systems and sales leadership.

That background gives Greenlee a mix of operational and commercial experience as he begins working with fire departments, distributors and industry partners throughout the region.

Greenlee's territory: Western New York, Western Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia and Kentucky.

Of the three appointments, Greenlee has the broadest combination of municipal, industrial, fire-protection and sales experience described in the company's announcement.

James Clifford will cover the Southwest

James Clifford has been named Southwest District Sales Manager, serving a territory that includes Southern California, Nevada and Arizona.

Clifford comes to the position with a background in fire apparatus sales. That experience is particularly relevant to departments and distributors working across interconnected apparatus, hose and equipment purchasing decisions.

Clifford's territory: Southern California, Nevada and Arizona.

According to Snap-tite, Clifford will work with customers and distribution partners on product needs, training opportunities and ongoing customer relationships throughout the Southwest territory.

Deputy Chief Bill Rockey joins Mid-Atlantic team

Bill Rockey brings the most direct current fire-service leadership role of the three new appointments. Snap-tite says Rockey has spent 24 years in the fire service and currently serves as a Deputy Chief.

His background also includes experience working with customers and fire protection systems, giving him firsthand familiarity with both the operational and equipment sides of the fire service.

Rockey's territory: Eastern New York, Eastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland.

Snap-tite said Rockey will support customers and distributors in the region while helping departments identify hose solutions suited to their operational requirements.

What the appointments mean for fire departments

The significance of the announcement is less about adding three names to a corporate directory and more about where Snap-tite is placing fire-service experience.

Greenlee brings more than two decades across several fire-protection and municipal markets. Clifford comes from the fire apparatus side of the industry. Rockey remains connected directly to fire-service operations through his role as a Deputy Chief. Together, those backgrounds give the company representatives who approach department needs from different parts of the fire-equipment ecosystem.

That can be useful in a product category where purchasing decisions are tied to apparatus configuration, water delivery, department operating practices, training and long-term equipment support.

The company did not announce changes to its product lineup as part of the personnel expansion. The September announcement is focused specifically on increasing regional sales coverage and direct support.
